We have an immediate full time opening for a highly motivated individual in Operations for the Investment Management Team.

 

Requirements:

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree – business related field preferred but not required

  • Previous internship/operations experience in securities, finance or banking required

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, primarily Word and Excel

  • Experience with Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX) software a plus!

Primary responsibilities:

  • Prepare Investment Advisory Agreements and Custody Account Applications

  • Coordinate transfer of accounts with multiple parties: Custodians, Investment Managers,
    Trustees, Clients, Attorneys, Accountants

  • Prepare letters of authorization and cash transfer documentation

  • Post daily transaction activity into in-house portfolio software

  • Prepare letters/memos/emails to Clients, Custodians, Investment Managers

  • Coordinate, update and maintain client information

  • Initiate Client stock donations

  • Reconcile incoming and outgoing cash and securities

  • Track and update cost basis information

  • Set up new accounts using in-house portfolio software

  • Answer and direct phone calls when necessary

  • Provide general support to visitors when necessary
